Staff

Chris Greacen works on technology and policy aspects of renewable energy. His PhD research at the Energy and Resources Group (ERG, UC Berkeley) focused on community-managed micro-hydroelectricity in Thailand, where he has lived since 2000. He has an MS and PhD from ERG at U.C. Berkeley.

Chom Greacen is a public interest electricity sector analyst. From 1999 to 2003 she worked as a policy analyst with Thailand's Energy Policy and Planning Office (EPPO), where her responsibilities focused on details of country's electricity policy reform process. A recipient of the prestigious Thailand "King's Scholarship", she studied environmental engineering at Dartmouth College and has a MS from ERG at U.C. Berkeley.

Usanee Norhim is research analyst with an MS in environmental studies from National Institute Development Administration.

Anuthida Sangarasri is a Palang Thai program officer. She has a BE in Mechanical Engineering from Chiang Mai University, Thailand.

Associates

Richard Plevin is a software engineer, writer, and renewable energy enthusiast. He has over 20 years of experience as a software engineer and entrepreneur. He has a BS in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from SUNY Albany and an MS in Computer Science from Yale University. He is currently persuing a PhD from ERG at UC Berkeley.

Bretton W. Garrett is a PhD electrical engineer with 20 years of work experience in transmission operations and control in British Columbia Hydro.

Sheila Bijoor is a graduate student in electrical engineering at Stanford University. As a Mineral Acquisitions Partners (MAP) Summer Sustainable Energy Fellow at Palang Thai, Sheila is investigating Integrated Resource Planning (IRP) to democratize and green Thailand's energy sector.
